Sorry you had to ask. I should have responded. My apologies. Yes there is an improvement and my 1080ti handles the increase just fine.

The default is 4.5, setting it to for instance 6.5 should do something about the drawing of terrain in front of you, but that will also increase your VRAM usage.

Yes I have v5. I anxiously awaited it and bought it right away. I’m using an i9900k and 1080ti. I’m very pleased with the improvements v5 brought in the graphics area compared to v4. I found it quite interesting that Nvidia released a new driver immediately after MSFS2020’s release. Nvidia even pointed out the driver’s support for the flight simulator.
