Re: How to reset shaders back to default?
I didn't think you were supposed to delete the shaders folder, just the files within?

Can you check your computer specs against the system requirements?

The graphics card I believe is not up to the minimum requirements.

Re: Cannot Update to V6.1.11
The solution of giving rights to the P3D file can help resolve cases where several successive installations have not resolved the problem. For my part, this procedure helped me and since then I have no more problems with basic P3D and I hope that it will last. Did you previously report the problem ...

Re: Cannot Update to V6.1.11
Hi, Thanks for your reply, but no luck. I don't have a "Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d V6" folder, however I do have a "ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3d V6" folder but it isn't there either, unfortunatly. Glad I didn't put money on that! The only reason I had a c:\ l...

Re: Cannot Update to V6.1.11
I've had this issue. Check C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v6
I'll bet you'll find it in there. Mine is installed in D:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v6
I copied the files that were installed by the patch in the c:\ location re to the D:\.... folder and all worked.

Re: Update to 6.1.10 does not work
Where is P3D installed? Is it on the c: drive or in another drive? Mine is installed on D:\ but the patch ends up installing in c:\program files.....

As Martyson asked though, what are you seeing with the default aircraft?

Re: 5.4: App Hangs
Nothing wrong with asking, that's how we all learn. :-)
It stands for affinity mask. It basically tells P3D what cores of the processor it can and can't run on.

Re: 5.4: App Hangs
It was the default mask causing the hangs. max Can you share the AM settings that fixed your Hangs (so far)? The job scheduler information is processor specific, so it needs to be calculated for each processor, so you may not be able to use it unless you have the same processor specs. http://izn-fl...

Sabre, that's not what I read into it. Here's a further quote: "Absolutely we will keep P3D products available and when/where it makes sense, I will be very happy to introduce v6 new or updated products." The whole thread is here: https://forum.orbxdirect.com/topic/220190-orbx-library-for...

Re: Orbx is planning on updating to support V6
Shame, but I'd guessed it would be happening. At least there is the work around. And Maybe there might be some more freeware coming along for P3D V5 from Orbx that can be shoehorned into V6 to work.

Re: After 6.1.10 Patch FX Tools crash with every effect
Purely out of curiosity, if you go to 'about' in the in flight menu, what version of P3D shows?
