P3D just quietly shuts down.
From what I can gather from the extremely limited Windows error logs it looks NVidia related.

I can confirm the night cockpit visibility is better but the dawn/dusk cockpit visibility is still practically zero.

That issue is usually just a missing or corrupt P3D flight plan file.
Just load a new flight plan after the scenario loads up.
It should be good to go the next time around after saving it and reloading it.
