New AMD build result

Post by krflyer »

MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max
AMD Ryzen 7 3700X Boxed (reused Wraith Prism cooler in my FX8370 setup which now never rises above 40c)
beQuiet Dark Rock 4
Crucial Ballistix Sport LT BLS2K16G4D32AESC 32GB dual rank DIMM
MSI Radeon RX5700XT MECH OC
Coolermaster 520W 80+ PSU

Lionheart Quest Kodiak
ORBX Holger mesh PNG, Tapini, Jackson / Port Moresby
I get 130fps on the default start up scenery, and the 3700XT and 5700XT max out really well. Fixing frames to 60fps for now while I play with the settings. For now, very happy to have invested 1100 euro's in this platform (excl Windows 10 license as I still have the old rig on the side) Planning to use this rig to demo the work Mission Aviation Fellowship is doing in PNG using Oculus Rift S (or Quest when Oculus Link works well)
