[RESOLVED] Prepar3D loads and goes away

Hello guys, major issue here, my P3D will show the main screen and after a few minutes will disapear, will not make it to the menu or anything, no clue what happened, I check anything that I was able to do with my knowledge but is not working now, please can anyone help me to solve this? I have a tons of addons and I will like to save my P3D after months of getting everything the way I like it, thanks for any help

What is your P3D default flight?

Do you have any add-ons installed?

Exactly wont load anything just the splash screen, my default flight has always been the piper cup at KVPS, never had an issue with that. I tried to install my Carenado Piper seminole that I used for FSX and said P3D also, I had the aircraft for a while but wasnt installed, before last night my sim was running very smooth. I unistalled the aircraft but the issue stayed.

Which version of P3D do you use P3D 3.4 xxxxxx ?

What did you change before P3D stopped working?

Is explained on my second reply, tried to install a carenado aircraft and this happened. I unistalled but the problem persisted.

Ask Carenado what is the best solution.

Ok I will do this, everything was right after installing the Carenado Piper Seminole, before my sim was working normal and smooth for weeks with no issues at all, I wont use or try to install this aircraft anymore, I have so many other good aircrafts and this one messed up everything :(

I had a similar problem. The only way I was able to resolve it was to uninstall and then re-install the P3D Client Module. You won't loose any of your addons and the sim will restart normally. Worked perfectly for me. Something became corrupted for some unknown reason and re-installing the client was as if I had re-installed my simulator will all addons intact. P3D is designed for that now.

thanks guys I was able to figure it out, reading some previous posts here, was the cmeteo.xml files on my dll, so now im good, thanks for all the help like always!

Was your Carenado Piper seminole aircraft installer for an older version of P3D .. like P3D v1 or 2?
Or did you download a fresh copy of the current Carenado Piper seminole aircraft from your account?

A current Carenado Piper seminole aircraft product download should support P3D v3 and should not have, as far as I know, put the cmeteoXml entry in your DLL.xml file.

I do not understand.

Did the Carenado installer you used put cmeteo into your P3D DLL.xml?

I am trying to understand how it got there?
