NVIDIA GTX 1080TI problem

P3D V5 HF1 keeps crashing no matter the scenario. I get the same error every time (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 stopped working DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG). My settings are average midrange-ish. Has anybody found a way around or heard anything from LM regarding the issue? cause i see multiple people getting the error. In the task manager i get a couple of spikes at reach crash (see picture).
