I need your help

Post by Comenis »

Hi,
I am completely new her and just purchased and installed version 5.2.
I think, from what I read, it includes the hotfix.
The program crashes ater the message "loading complete"
Before that, I was able to select an airplane, select an airport (EDSB), modified the
display section to the lightest load, store everything, but still the program crahes.
I have two graphic cards installed Nvidia Geforce GT 630 and I read in the FAQ that they should
support Direct X 12, which I saw they do in a NVIDIA support site.
Unfortunately, when I started Prepr3D the first time, I ignored the warnig that came up
at the beginnig. I am not sure if it is relevant, but that´s what happened.
In addition, my NVIDIA control center also crashes after a few seconds.
I am pretty much lost and would like to get the community's support on how to get the program started.
Sorry for being number ??? who asks the same question.
Thanks for your help

Can you check your computer specs against the system requirements?

The graphics card I believe is not up to the minimum requirements.

According to nVidia's site, the GT 630 supports DX11, not DX12, and also comes with 1 or 2 GB of VRAM, where 4 GB is required.

So at least the graphics card makes this a non-starter.

If you shop around you can find 8GB video cards for less than $100.00 US. Its actually getting hard to find new 4GB video cards. However, I would say get the best video card you can afford that is compatible with your system.

Comenis,

Mentioned:
"I am completely new her and just purchased and installed version 5.2.

But, the current product is P3D 5.4.9.28482.
