Wrong coast line in Texas

Post by kjjj11223344 »

I have the most recent v5 update (5.3.15.28131), and noticed this near the Texas coast:

I am not using Orbx or any addon product. I don't have any addon scenery nor landclass near the area (my P3D is vanilla in this area). Is something corrupt, or is this an issue in the latest release?

Can someone hop in their sim in that geographic area and see if the coast is messed up (and possibly save me a reinstall plz).

5.3 was a full, clean install. 5.3 hf1 was an update install (but I uninstalled and reinstall client, scenery, and content).

Being familiar with area I had to check it out. Slewed my Trike from Hobby to past Port Arthur and didn't see any abnormality either in the forward cockpit view or from a very high top down view. I am using Orbx openLC and Vector. Maybe it's something that Orbx "cleans-up?"

I had Orbx global on prior v5 versions. Only recently uninstalled it to check out the new pbr default p3d scenery. I have a feeling that it is a bug in the latest hotfix, and that orbx doesn't have the same issue. Would be great to hear of others with default scenery in this area chime in.

Default P3Dv5.3HF1 has the problem.
