AddON Program(s)

Hi,
I have MSFS 2020. i have PMDG 738...
Recently bought the P#D v6 program and I want to add the SimMarket, "HONG KONG INTL AIRPORT VHHH P3D4-5", I know that the " v 4-5 is not v 6), so this will be compatible with v6 or not?
I want to gane more about this addons, so if I want to add any other aircrafts or Airports for v6, where have to go looking for them? I can go only to PMDG's, or this is open internet search?

I have bought several airports from SimMarket that were advertised as for P3D4 or 5. They all work in P3D6 and look great. The generally come in as add ons in the p3D5 add on folder which I have since I also have P3D5. I just move them over to the P3D6 add on folder and they install from there.

Many airports that work in P3D v. 5 will work in v. 6 also, I have not yet run into any that do not. Also, many that work in v. 4 will also work in v. 6.

But - there is always a but - this is not guaranteed! Some will unfortunately not work.

For add-on user-flyable aircraft you need to make sure that it is v. 6 compatible, and that you can uninstall it if it proves not to be.

Different with AI aircraft, if it is a FSX model it will show up in v. 6, if it is a FS9 model it will not.

One more question. I using only FS 2020.
If I go to PMDG.com store and I want to buy example; PMDG 747-400 QUEEN OF THE SKIES II - BASE PACKAGE FOR PREPAR3D and the rest of the expansion package that is will be supported? The PMDG products are not mention any versions variants, but mention under description; (Please NOTE: PBR models require Prepar3D v4.5 and higher.), means HIGHER is v6.

If you only use MSFS2020, then you are in the wrong forum.

Here we only support P3D.
